Jerk Chicken & Pineapple Salsa


This Recipe is Perfect for you if you love to BBQ. It's also great for when you want to host family and friends but what to not only offer great food but when you want to be fancy and show off a little. Try this Jamaican Jerk Chicken with Pineapple Salsa Recipe the next time you have people over, on a holiday or if you just want to splurge and have a good time!



  • 4-6 Leg & Thigh quarters 
  • 2 tbsp City Eats Jerk Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp City Eats Chicken Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp City Eats All Purpose Seasoning
  • Jerk Marinade
  • 1/2 Pineapple
  • 1/2 Purple Onion
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper
  • Fresh Parsley

    Step 1

    Thoroughly clean your Chicken, removing excess fat and skin. Rinse with Vinegar or Lemon in Water until cleaned.

    Step 2

    Season Chicken with City Eats Jerk, Chicken & All Purpose Seasonings followed by your preferred Jerk Marinade. Cover and allow to marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

    Step 3

    Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.

    Step 4

    Remove Chicken from Marinade and place on Grill grate, cover and turn periodically, until they become golden brown on each side and fully cooked through. You will know your Chicken is fully cooked through, when it appears crispy and reaches an internal temperature of 74degrees C.

    Step 5

    For your Salsa, core half a Pineapple, thinly dice and add to a medium sized bowl. Dice the Purple Onion and the Red Bell Pepper, followed by the Lemon squeeze. Sprinkle chopped Parsley and mix to combine evenly.

    Step 6

    You could create a light BBQ sauce to coat your Chicken but this is optional. Service Chicken with Salsa & enjoy with your favourite sides.
