RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean Ground Beef
  • 1 tbsp City Eats Meat Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp City Eats All Purpose Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup fine dry Bread crumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 tspn salt (Optional)
  • 1 Purple Onion
  • 1/2 Carrot
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Purple Cabbage
  • Sliced Cheese

    Step 1

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.

    Step 2

Whisk together egg, Meat & All Purpose seasonings in a medium bowl. Add ground beef and bread crumbs and mix with your hands or a fork until well blended. Form into four 3/4-inch-thick patties.

    Step 3

Place patties on the preheated grill. Cover and cook 6 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

    Step 4

While Patties are on the Grill, prepare your condiments and sauces. Mix together Mayo & Ketchup to sauce the Buns. Slice Purple Onions into rings. Create a slaw of Purple Cabbage and Shredded carrot, add Mayo with Vinegar and combine.

    Step 5

When Burgers are done on Grill, remove and build your own Burger! For our build, from bottom half of bun, Mayo & Ketchup sauce, Lettuce, Cheese slice, Burger Patty, Cheese Slice, Onion rings, Tomatoes, Cabbage slaw, top bun coated with sauce. We added a toothpick in our Burger and top with a Cherry Tomato because we're FANCY! Enjoy!
